3mm PVC Free Foam Board for UV Printing

3mm PVC free foam board is a thin and lightweight PVC foam sheet used for UV printing, poster mounting, indoor signs, display panels and short-term advertising boards. For 3mm PVC foam sheet, density selection is important. Lower density is more economical for temporary display boards, while slightly higher density can give better flatness and cleaner edge quality for printing and cutting.

3mm is a common thickness for advertising and display use because it balances weight, cost and handling convenience. It is more rigid than paperboard, lighter than thick plastic sheets, and easier to mount on walls, frames or display stands.

For UV printing, the board surface should be flat and clean. PVC free foam board provides a suitable base for printed graphics, menu boards, promotional signs, retail display boards and exhibition panels.

PVC free foam board is easy to cut and process, but because it is a thin PVC sheet, processing should focus on flatness, edge quality and correct installation method.

For straight cutting, a sharp knife, table saw or CNC cutter can be used. The board should be fixed properly during cutting to avoid edge shaking. For CNC processing, 3mm board is suitable for simple shapes, light letters and display parts, but it is not recommended for deep engraving or thick 3D letters.

For installation, the board can be fixed with double-sided tape, glue, screws with washers or frame mounting. For wall signs and indoor display panels, using a proper backing or frame can make the finished product flatter and more stable.

Before printing, the boards should be stored flat. Long-time leaning storage may cause thin boards to bend, especially before UV printing or lamination.

Different advertising projects need different thicknesses. 3mm is not a universal board, but it is very suitable when the customer needs a lightweight and economical printable PVC sheet.
